A 47-foot Motor Lifeboat crew returns to Coast Guard Station Tillamook Bay, Oregon

TILLAMOOK, Ore. - A 47-foot Motor Lifeboat crew returns to Coast Guard Station Tillamook Bay, Ore., after rescuing both crewmembers of the capsized 56-foot fishing vessel, Double Eagle, Oct. 3, 2010. The Double Eagle, homeported in Tillamook, contacted Station Tillamook Bay via VHF radio channel 16, notifying the Coast Guard of its intent to cross the Tillamook Bar at 5:30 p.m. Station Tillamook Bay dispatched two, 47-foot Motor Lifeboat crews to the bar entrance as a precautionary measure.
