The Humvee is a huge military vehicle with an amazingly small amount of room inside. They are equally loved and hated by the soldiers Marines, airmen and sailors that use them. Safety improvements are continuing, but they tend to impair the vehicle's usefulness and eliminate inside room. Either way, when you are riding in a Humvee through a war zone with an armed machine gunner in the upper turret, there is an amazing feeling of superiority that follows. Many say it is both a blessing and a curse.
